Hi, we’re Lauren & Allie — two longtime friends, accidental co-founders, and deeply human career coaches who believe the job search isn’t just about the next role… it’s about the next version of you.

💫 How We Met — and Why It Still Matters

We met in 2011, on Lauren’s first day at a tech startup in Palo Alto. Lauren was coming from managing retail stores, determined to break into tech but unsure where she fit yet.

Allie was already working in Talent and had her footing in the industry. She immediately recognized something in Lauren — that spark, drive, and instinct you can’t teach. The kind that belongs in Sales.

Very quickly, we became each other’s sounding boards, co-strategists, and co-conspirators.

We mapped out Lauren’s transition into sales. We navigated layoffs, promotions, new cities, and new industries. We held each other together through personal upheavals, reinventions, and life “plot twists.”

Allie began her journey in career coaching in 2019, helping clients earn promotions, identify new opportunities, and navigate layoffs.

Both of us are certified career coaches, trained to combine structured frameworks with deeply human, real-world support.

Lauren fell into coaching in 2020, supporting first-time tech employees as they transitioned into a new and unfamiliar industry — all while maintaining a full-time sales role.

As the job landscape shifted and layoffs became more common, we realized something:

The way we supported each other is exactly how people wish they were supported in their careers.

So we joined forces and built it.
